Planting seeds through Storytelling – an intergenerational workshop (in person + zoom option available)

Sunday, June 6, 2021 26 Sivan 5781

2:00 PM - 3:30 PM

Join in the fun as we experience the Jewish value of L’Dor Va’Dor, how one generation finds their connection to the next through storytelling and gardening. Topaz Weis, of Expressive Arts Burlington will lead us in a creative storytelling earth-inspired workshop including planting and decorating the Beth Jacob/ PJ Library garden.

If you would like to join by Zoom, Joey Glick (Beth Jacob's rabbinic intern) will share a story by Vermont author Yael Werber on the changing of the seasons.  Spring for Sophie tells the story of a girl using her five senses to notice the coming of spring.  We'll use the story as a springboard to tell our own stories about sensing and appreciating the natural world.
