The Beth Jacob community is invited to join Michele Clark and Darryl Bloom to read and discuss two chapters a week of Noa Tishby’s Israel: A Simple Guide To the Most Misunderstood Country On Earth.

The nation of Israel is an imperfect democracy. As is the United States. In this focused book group we hope to learn new information and deepen our understanding of the complexity of political, social and economic life in Israel. Talking about Israel has become fraught. We have developed these guidelines for group discussion which will focus on learning and understanding. Please read them before you register for the group.

Because of the increase in Covid infections, the group will be meeting on Zoom only. You will receive the Zoom link once you've registered.

If there is enough interest, Darryl & Michele will consider hosting another reading group later in the year.
