Community Service Dinners

Our monthly community dinners provide a nutritious meal and welcoming atmosphere to those who come as guests. The community dinners take place on the last Sunday of each month, a time identified when no other free meal is offered and when monthly food benefits are likely to have been exhausted. While most of our volunteers are in some way associated with the Beth Jacob Synagogue, the meals are not faith associated.

Volunteers prepare food in their home and bring it to Bethany Church in Montpelier on days when meals are served. Other volunteers set-up, serve the meal, and clean up. To volunteer contact Linda Cohen or Dawn Seibert.
