Aaron Goldberg and Jeff Potash of Burlington will share the remarkable story of the Lost Mural - from its origin in Burlington's Little Jerusalem, to the story of it being "lost" behind a false wall in 1986, its move to Ohavi Zedek Synagogue in 2015, and finally, the current efforts to bring the mural fully back to life through art conservation. The Lost Mural is a rare example of the Eastern European tradition of synagogue wall paintings — and a legacy which Aaron and Jeff are proudly working to restore as part of the Lost Mural Project.
