Commandment 613 Screening and Q+A with filmmakers and Rabbi Kevin Hale (in person and zoom)

Sunday, July 12, 2020 20 Tammuz 5780

6:30 PM - 7:30 PM

Join in from home or Beth Jacob for a screening of this film followed by a Q+A with Rabbi Kevin Hale and filmmakers.

A film by Miriam Lewin and Randi Cecchine

Rabbi Kevin Hale joyfully practices the sacred craft of Torah restoration, heeding the final commandment of the five books of Moses as he brings new life to scrolls saved in Czechoslovakia during the Shoah.  As his scribal work takes him to communities entrusted with the scrolls, he reflects on his own path to faith and practice.

There will be an opportunity to participate in this screening and Q+A either from your own home or from Beth Jacob.  There will be a limited amount of spots available for the Beth Jacob screening and all will be asked to wear masks and respect social distancing.  Please select below how you would like to participate and the appropriate information will be sent to you.  Thanks!
Thank you!
