Nava Tehila Concert, 2017

In the spirit of Lag b'Omer, the holiday of gratitude, on May 14, 2017, the Central Vermont Jewish community welcomed the fabulous and inspiring Nava Tehila ensemble from Jerusalem for an extraordinary fundraising event benefiting refugees. Co-hosted by Beth Jacob Synagogue and JCOGS (Jewish Community of Greater Stowe) with support from Jewish Communities of Vermont, Congregation Ruach Hamaqom, Ohavi Zedek Synagogue, Hadassah of Vermont, and private donors, the event filled the ZenBarn in Waterbury, owned by the Fishman brothers, graduates of the Beth Jacob Hebrew school. The concert benefited HIAS (the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society).
