Stand with Ukraine (in person and zoom)

Thursday, March 31, 2022 28 Adar II 5782

6:30 PM - 7:30 PM

Please join us for a community opportunity to discuss the Russian war on Ukraine, to address questions and concerns, and consider possible implications for our own society.

There will be quarts of Borsht for sale organized by Sarah Scotch as a fundraiser. Funds will go to the all-volunteer neighborhood brigade called #volunteer_68 led by Galina Kharlamova which is currently supporting a community member's family in Ukraine. This group delivers food, water, medicines, diapers, and other supplies to the vulnerable elderly, disabled, and mothers of young children who cannot wait in long bread lines.  Unlike many other aid groups, there are no salaries or overhead costs to pay. Every dollar goes to supplies and gas to deliver supplies.  Borsht will be $20 and cash or check is best.

This program will occur in person at Beth Jacob Synagogue (10 Harrison ave.) and simultaneously on zoom.  Attendance for in person will be limited to provide people space and masks will be required.

This is an inter-faith event co-sponsored by Beth Jacob Synagogue, Christ Episcopal Church, Old Meeting House and Bethany Church.

Please register below to attend in person or receive the zoom link.
