Dinner with Tevye, 2016

As part of our a series of events celebrating the life and art of Sholem Aleichem we hosted "Dinner with Tevye" on November 12, 2016. Helen Labun Jordan of Hel's Kitchen created a delicious menu inspired by the cuisine of Pale of Settlement Russia at the turn of the 20th century. Following the meal was a screening of "Tevye," the first film adaptation of the Tevye the Milkman series starring the great Yiddish actor/director Maurice Schwartz.
